Some day Oh Great Purple One when you no longer have to fight through motor traffic to get to work and you’re retired and out to grass you can put your feet up and plan your winters in the Sun. If I’m around, you’re welcome to join me in my local cafe in Spain where we can scoff free tapas and pay €1.20 for a coffee.I'm not in a position to do that so I don't think other people should be allowed to do it.
Whoever named the 'sunny' south East must have been on the Greenland job also."A mild start with temperatures up to 10c here this morning as Ireland is once again one of the warmest countries in Europe. Meanwhile parts of Spain have got down to -9.9c this morning. A mainly dry and cloudy day ahead but some patchy drizzle at times and odd sunny spell."Carlow Weather (@carlowweather.bsky.social)

I deliberately avoid places with Irish Bars etc. I'd rather spend a week in work than spend it in and around those places.Does anyone else prefer not to bump into fellow paddies when they’re abroad? Maybe it’s just me.
Not just "abroad" I try and do it here as well with great success most of the timeDoes anyone else prefer not to bump into fellow paddies when they’re abroad?
