If I pay an item 100gbp with my laser, how much will it actually cost?

Hi all,

If I go to buy few things (say a phone) for 100 GBP in Newry, how could in actually find out the real cost to me, if I pay in Euro, with a Laser?

Which conversion rate should I consider? Is there any other extra cost?
 
Depends on the bank you have your laser card with. There should be a schedule of charges available.

With AIB I believe there's a 1.75% fx charge (because you're moving into a foreign currency within the EU, otherwise it's fx of 2.75%), in addition to whatever conversion rate they're using on the day.
