Idependent Service Garages

With all the hype around the de-regulation of the motor industry (and many former franchised garages losing their dealerships does anyone know of any independent Renault service specialists who have set up. I'm reluctant to use the main dealers as I've heard too many stories. Previously had the car looked after down the sticks but now have a small problem that needs attention
 
What I was really asking about is the ex Renault guys who now may be operating as Independent multi dealers or service guys who have set up as service specialists.

I know that other marques - Citroen, Bee Em etc are catered for in this way.
 
josh -dont know where you live , the renault dealership in Drogheda closed down and I think the mechanics are still there - selling and repairing all sorts
 
I'm in the Lucan area, but good to know that as one or two people in work drive Renault and live in the Drogheda area
