ideas for wall colour

am doing up my new and very first home! its an apt. so excited...

i have seen the most beautiful corner sofa, its a sort of gold/honey/ beige rich colour in suede it has a slight sheen

Any way i had a wall colour (greeny yellow..very technical terms!) in mind cos i was originally looking for a cream/taupe sofa, but now this wont go with the goldy sofa

the colour is going on one wall behind sofa and whole lenght of room ino dining area . am going for faded funky charm look,having plush sofa and laura ashley old skool antique look white metal chandelier over sofa area.

maybe a very strong tea with milk colour, a sort of deep matt terrracotta?

would like matt to balance the sheen off sofa.
any ideas?? thanks.....

From your description, I think a peach/apricot colour would look good. Matt does sound best if the couch has a sheen.
