Ideas for sending wedding gift abroad

My Italian friend is getting married in September - we are invited but cannot make it.

I would like to buy her a present that is Irish connected as she lived here for five years and i know she would very much appreciate something like this. Has anyone got any ideas of what I could send her in the post??

Some lovely John Rocha Champagne (procecco) glasses....probaly won't travel well but you could wait until the next time they are home or you are over there.
