Ideas for a newcomer!

7 years ago had a lump sum of approx. 50,000 euro to invest. Took financial advice and put it into Hibernian Celebration Bond, very disappointed with return. Encashment Value today approx. 58,000(withdrew 3,000euro one year ago-no penalty)
Thinking of encashing the bond and not sure how to proceed??
Thought about the following options
1. Pay off mortgage-48500 euro
2.Pay off credit union loan-9,000
This would allow me to save about 1,000 euro per month. Thought about some AVCs but put off by high charges
Any bright ideas??
 
avcs with cornmarket, 5% per contribution and 1% of fund per annum, I think!! Am a primary school teacher
 
I'm sure that it's been covered before but do you know if you can, say, open a 0%/1% PRSA for AVCs?
 
am def a newcomer, not sure what PRSA means, if it's been covered before could you direct me to it. ta
