Ice cream Maker

I'm interested in getting opinions on the pros and cons of different brands of ice cream makers. Going to go the full hog and get one with a built-in condenser. The main contenders seem to be Gaggia, Magimix and DeLonghi. Advice from anyone out there with experience of either of these would be much appreciated or recommendations of websites selling these brands.

I bought an ice cream maker for my husband in kichen condiments - the kitchen shop off grafton street. It is non mechanical and consists of a metal container with a lid filled with some kind of liquid. you mix the ingredients up in your regular food processer/mixer/by hand then pour it in this thing (which you pre freeze -basically store it in the freezer) Put back in freezer 20 minutes later, delicious ice cream. I think it cost 60 euro makes i.5l icecream.
