I am planning on applying for car finance and wondering if there would be an issue in getting approval. About 3 years ago I had a credit card revoked due to missed payments.
Since then I have paid the card off in full (Cleared about 1 & half years ago) When I went to close the account Avant card asked me if I would like the account re-activitated. I had been making payments without an issue for over a year until cleared.
The card was re issued and again no payment missed since then. I also have a CU loan with no missed payments.
I received a copy of mt ICB report and it shows only 24 months of data, all payments made on time with CC, CU loan and also a BOI loan that I had that was cleared over two years ago..
My question is would the revoked CC around 3 years ago stop me from getting car finance approval..
