Hi all

I had a credit card it's gone years I was made redundant etc. But I'm paying it back. I have ordered my report and it's on there now nearly 10 years. Can I ask Avant to remove this as I thought five years was the maximum time allowed? There is small balance I could save and pay it off next month. Does that mean it would then be removed straight away as it's 9 years on my report. Thanks for any advise
 
See I don't think this is the case. I thought it was 5 years as there is another site I frequent and very similar situation it was removed after 5 years. I'm not sure why mine is still there for 10 years. Maybe once I pay it off next month it will be removed.
