I receive a Back to Work Allowance which began in June '09 when I started in my trade. I received very little business for the remainder of the year.
Now I'm completing the Form 11E and finding the one sentence guidelines at the front of the form confusing and it wouldn't pay me to get an accountant involved.
Anyone know where I'll get more thorough explanations?
The Back to Work Allowance is NOT taxable. See here ( at end of page ) . Accordingly you need only account for your other income less allowable expenses on the Form 11
