Has anyone any knowledge of the iphone4, Firstly does the radio use up much data? , And if you already have songs stored in itunes on your laptop is it easy to transfer them to the iphone, and again does this use much data, Lastly should the iphone,s wifi work off of our broadband on the laptop even though it is the stick type , Thanks for any help or tips.
No idea about the data that a radio app would use.
Transferring songs from a laptop to an iPhone is the same as to an iPod. Simple if you know how, frustratingly awkward if you don't. It doesn't use any data.
A plug-in 'dongle' type 3G stick does not transmit wifi so there is nothing that the iPhone can connect to. You can get standalone egg-shaped things that pick up 3G and transmit wifi which will suit though. Some will support multiple devices connecting to it.
Hope this helps.
Thanks Pique and Leo for your responses, Pique We got the dongle you suggested and it works fine thank you , Leo thanks for setting me straight on the data usage, We are new to the Iphone and wifi so again thanks for your help, Regards Cumnor.
