i bought a used car from a dealer 2 months ago . the oil leaked out of the gearbox during this time and i refilled it hoping to drive it back to the garage. but it leaked out again - this time overnight. the car is not driveable and the garage wont pay for a tow truck to fetch the car. they expect me to pay to get it towed there but they wont reimburse me. dont know what to do.

(it came with a 3month engine & gearbox warranty)
 
Ring a towing company and tell them to invoice the garage. If the garage have anything to say about it, show them the warranty....and don't back down!!
 
What about getting a mate to tow you in?

Sometimes better to just figure a way around things and get on with getting the car fixed and back on the road.

This is the kind sh1te that can tend to drag on.

garage doesn't care and is happy to fob off the repair, they are not the ones stuck without a car.
 
does your insurance cover breakdown?

towing is as far as i have heard/read is now illegal!!!
