Upgrades to the OS on Apple's computers are free, you connect to Apple's site and download them from the internet, and you can't buy the OS as a discrete software package. I don't understand your concern and some other posters don't help make the thread any clearer.I have to upgrade my mac-mini OS
Designed in California, manufactured in China, financially engineered in Ireland. Are Apple actually US goods. Hardware is probably from China. Apple US probably don't export much from the US.
13 yo Mac mini - you got great value from that and yes that hardware will need replacing to avail of the new OS and other software advances.Currently its running on Catalina 10.15.17 and its slow.
To be clear any tariffs imposed by Trump won't impact your purchase here in Ireland. They will make imported goods to the US more expense to buy in the US.because the tariffs imposed by Trump will affect the cost of US goods to Ireland amongst other things?
I can't see what your concern is. If you are ready to buy now, M4 Mac Mini's are available for delivery in 5-7 days, and you pay the price shown at the time you place the order (i.e. today). So there is nothing to worry about.have a late 2012 mac-mini that needs to be replaced as I don't think it will be able to cope with newer OS upgrades.
No idea, I'm an Android/MS man myselfAre Apple products made in Cork any cheaper for Irish consumers compared to th countries it is being exported?
If you are buying a Mac Mini you can get a substantial education discount here - https://www.apple.com/ie-edu/shop/buy-mac/mac-miniIf you are buying in 4-6-8 weeks time nobody knows what price you will be paying as the goods could be subject to 25% tariffs or worse. So no point in worrying about that now, consider it when you are actually placing the order.
