hi

I bought my 1st car( Getz secondhand) its due its service and has 51300 miles on the clock and it a 2003 car.

I rang the nearest Hyundai dealer who told me the service would be @ least 240 not including any parts and that i would need a new timing belt also.

I rang a dealer in Mullingar who told me Eur250, but i wouldnt need my belt changed to 60/70,000

So who is correct and how much does it usually cost for a service.

Thanks

I don't see much problem with either advice. The service prices differ by less than 5% and changing the timing belt while the car is in for a service makes sense, trather than the cost of a second visit to do the job.
