hypotethical liability question!

I was driving a very narrow country road yesterday (barely the width of one car), and I thought of this question: what happens if someone from the opposite direction drives straight into my car. The road doesn't have "sides" so you won't know who was veering to the other side. Ho would be liable in cases like this? Is it possible that there are cases with neither/both are at fault? In which case, how do insurance companies deal with it?

Yep it happens all the time, its called a 50/50.You claim on the other driver and the other driver claims against you.If the Guards are called his decision will normally be very influential i.e. He'll be asked does he think it's a 50/50 or a 60/40 etc.

So either way your no claims bonus would be ruined!
thanks for the info
