Hi all
Not sure what to do here.
I have been with the same phone company for many years - the major player. I signed up for "options" which entitled me to reduced costs on the overall bill - it was to automatically adjust on each bi-monthly bill. I discovered on my last bill (not in the habit of scrutinising it) that the "options" no longer exists. I duly phoned the company today to find out what has happened. I got the negative response I expected and was fobbed off with an excuse of "the computer has frozen - ring back". I know this means many more hours of pain hanging on the end of the line - until eventually the line will go dead I've been hanging on sooooooo long. I'll be frustrated and furious and might cut the nose off some poor unfortunate at the end of the line.
I expect that they owe me hundreds of € as the "options" seems to have been wiped at least a year ago. I certainly didn't request it. HOW to get the €'s back?
Thanks in advance!
Ruth
Ring Comreg, they love wrestling with phone companies. They give the telecoms company something like 10 days to get back with a response. They are probably the nicest and most helpful people to talk to when you are knocking your head against a brickwall. Unfortunately I dont have a number for them but its probably on here somewhere.
Thanks rkeane
Just to let you all know that I made one more phone call today and must give credit where it's due; the girl I spoke to was so incredibly helpful and pleasant (a nice change!). I have been credited with several months line rental; have been reimbursed for unauthorised broadband upgrade, and then signed up to one of the talktime packages.
Happy Ruth
