Hi. wandered if anyone can help me with this. my husband works in the north of ireland for a british company and i work in the south for an irish company. we live in the south and have 3 children. my husband is taxed as a single man as he earns too much for tax credits (have been told we coulndnt claim them anyway cos of were we live) he pays about £1000 month stoppages. i am on the minimun wage and work 36 houra a week so i can claim for the children, but dont think i would pay tax on my wage anyway as the young single people i work with do not pay any. is there any way that my husband can claim for the childre? i have contacted both tax offices many times but know one seems able or willing to help. does any one know anything about this? Thanks
