Where did that come from? Was it in your contract? I am surprised at that figure. According to the PNA website the entitlement of a full time staff nurse with at least 10 years service is 27 days. Promoted grades with the same service get 28 days. For part-time I imagine it should be proportional to the hours worked.I have Alway taken 7 weeks annual leave
Based on a 37.5 hour week (7.5 hour day) that equates to 16.9 days.I see that I am only granted 127 hours
I have been working 23 hours for the last 3 years which is made up of any two-day 12-hour shifts per week
I just want to know where I legally stand now before I phone HR and try to sort it out or could I be opening a hornet's nest and owing loads of time back
I suspect it’s significantly stronger than remote. It's a remote possibility that the pen and paper system worked to your benefit depending on what return was made.
Just a query. Does a person on reduced working hours get leave for all public holidays? Or is it proportionate to their work pattern? There's still 5 bank holidays to go before the end of March when our annual leave year ends. 5 x 7.5 hours = 37.5 hours which would bring you up to 164.5 hours or 7.1 weeks annual leave.

PH should be recorded separately but there was a old practice of combining AL and PH for staff on 7 day rotas. So it looks like Zeus's 127 hours AL is correct (based on 28 days AL) but it doesn't include PHs, which may be recorded (or taken) separately?
