How to view asking price of property that's gone sale agreed

Hi

Is there any websites out there that will tell you asking price of properties that have gone sale agreed / sold.

We are looking at a property and there are no other properties for sale in that area at the moment so hard to gauge if the asking price is over the odds are not. There are a few that are showing as sale agreed on daft/myhome but they don't give the asking price.

Any suggestions?

daftdrop and collapso are useful for this. Alternatively do a search in google. Once it didn't happen too long ago, the cache version of the page should have the price.
 
Pretty sure Daft show the price, even when sale agreed. Myhome do not.

Just checked there, and yes, Daft show prices. Are you performing the advanced search and then selecting 'Sale Agreed' only?

Bugler you're dead right, daft do show the prices but when I went back to check they are not showing any sale agreed properties for the area I am looking at. Myhome have a few..Maybe daft are quicker to remove theirs. Those other sites are not showing any thing either...Anyway not to worry. Thanks for your replies!

I think you're right. For whatever reason Myhome are very slow to remove sale agreeds...if they do at all. I know from my own experience of saving ads that they seem to sit there indefinitely when they go sale agreed.
 
Myhome do remove adverts, as least from what can be seen through their api, but it is very delayed. Usually a few months.
