How to switch from illness benefit to JSB.

Does anyone know what I have to do to switch from illness to JSB, have just been informed that I do not qualify for invalidity pension after being on illness benefit for 2 years, I have all the credits required for JSB, just do not know the procedure.

Get a final medical certificate from your GP and send it in as normal.

Then call to your nearest SW office and make a new claim for Jobseeker's Benefit. They should be able to see that you've closed your Illness Benefit claim.
