How to stuff a bean bag chair?

I have 2 bean bags that my kids love to sit on. They're getting pretty flat. I've found websites that sell filling, but don't know if I want to go through with it. Has anybody refilled a beanbag chairs? Is it a great big mess?

Theres a guy on Capel street who does this ,about 3 quarters up the street from the river on the left (on a corner) he does material,foam,bean bags etc .
 
Wall-mart sells the beanbags or separate you can also get the filling and the outer bag their. If you are looking for an inexpensive one they are great and adult size.
