The range of heat pump sizes that have been speced for a GSHP for my new 3000sq ft build is too variable for my liking (10 - 22 kw). Does anyone know what the various criteria that go into sizing a heatpump and the relative importance of each. I'd like to be well briefed before I quiz the supplier. Mine is a standard two story block build with standard insulation in the cavity between blocks. I've a big 5m x 4m window on the south facing wall - would this impact the HP size?. Any help greatly appreciated. I've tried downloading software to help me but to be honest I haven't cracked this yet
