How to seal window leak

There is a leak at the top of the driver window on my Mk4 Golf. There doesn't appear to be a tear in the rubber but it does pull away slightly in one area. Does anyone know the best way to seal this? Silicone?

don't use silicon never works right and looks awful.

Pull the seal off the door and clean it up and look for damage.

If damage get a new seal should be easy enough to fit diy.
