How to reset car radio - Opel Vectra 1994

Had to remove battery from car, and since replacing it the (Grundig) radio has not worked. It requires a pin code - so where do I start looking for codes, engine numbers etc. I have no books that came with the car, but I am lost and lonely without radio for company. Any help appreciated to get me tuned in again.

Try an opel dealer they should sort it for you.

In a lot of cases, the pin code is still on the side of the radio. Take it out and check.

The same thing happened to me with my Astra and I got it sorted by ringing the Opel garage where it was bought, just a quick phone call with the reg and they should give it to you over the phone.
It's best to try and find the original dealer(normally found on a sticker on the back window) as the other dealers will try charge you for it.
