Hi... I'm new to all this but I was wondering does anyone know where I could get an old belfast sink re-enamalled? Cant seem to find anywhere that does it. If you can help at all thanks a million
As Leo suggests the article to be "re-enamelled" must be enamel to begin with; most belfast/ butler's sinks were of earthenware which was then glazed. You can either clean up the old sink as best you can or source a new, modern replacement to match.
Thanks a million for your replies... The sink is ceramic so will try to source someone in Leinster area to glaze it or buy a new one if its too expensive. Was told it had to be 're-enamelled' so last time I show my ignorance of such things!.
