How to plaster a wall

My mate who is very handy at diy is going to put up plaster board and then plaster it for me, this is a bedroom front wall which gets damp in the winter so I want to get this done, what is a fair price and how long should it take thanks,
 
Our bathroom was boarded and skimmed well inside a day. (Size is approx 12 ft X 8 ft.) one normal sized door and one window about 3.5 ft X 4.0 ft.

I think €200 a day is reasonable for a good plasterer, but depends where you are I suppose.
However if the interior wall gets damp then covering it up is only masking the problem, to resolve the problem you have to sort the water penetration problem (exterior) which can be easier and of course the real solution
