How to make sure last pay done correctly?

Member of staff been let go on December 8th getting an extra week holiday leave pay on this. should her final pay say date of leaving December 8th or December 15th.

Pay was monthly so monthly COP and TC was used. Is it weekly COP & TC up to date of leaving.

Last month 30th was a Wednesday so does the 1st and 2nd become which Tax week? :confused:
