How to get rid of shopping bags?

Over the past few years we have managed to accumulate well over 50 of the long life shopping bags. The time has come now to get rid of most of them as they take up too much space.
I really don't want to send them to landfill, can anybody suggest how I can dispose of them or perhaps pass them on to somebody who would use them?

Charity shops or maybe leave them back at their respective supermarkets.

Ask friends or family if they want to use them.

They also make great temporary flower pots for potting trees and shrubs, fill with compost and stones and they're very sturdy.

I also use them for storage in my loft, putting away breakables by using a few wrapped together, or simply placing the item in the bag to stow away.
