How to get connected to Windows mail

Have just xmas present of new laptop with windows vista but am having problem with getting windows mail connected.Have gone through the whole set up features but am still get no connection at the end.Internet is working perfect (as you can see from post) but I am still getting this error message when it tries to connect.Am I doing it incorrectly or is there some thing about Windows mail connecting that I am ignoring.Am using Outlook Express on home pc.Thanks for any help
 
Hi,

I have used Windows Mail on a new laptop too for the last couple of months... however it seems to be causing lots of little problems for eg not being able to empty the deleted items folder.

I certainly would not recommend using it.. Outlook Express is much better imho.
