how to fix when screen displays too small

how do I restore a normal size font on the screen while using internet??
The display is now very small. I suspect sabotage small sticky fingerprints closeby......

Do you mean in the browser or the whole screen/system? If it's the former then try the View menu for the text size settings (I'm using FireFox and can't remember offhand if the same menu appears in IE). If it's the latter then perhaps somebody has changed the display resolution or system font settings - try Start -> Control Panel -> Display.

Go to View->Text Size on the IE menu and choose your preferred size here.

Or hold down the CTRL key and roll the mouse wheel up/down. Or hold down the CTRL key and plus/minus on the keyboard.

brilliant thanks a lot. that's done now so I can stop my wrinkle work out ie squinting at the screen!
