How to file Slovakian tax return?

It's quite a bit off, but has anyone ever submitted a Slovakian tax return as a non-resident?

I have just sold apartment there and the Slovak Government want a piece.

I need to file and pay before March 31, 2009.

- Anyone aware of an English speaking intermediary that could help?
- Would a simple calculation and a bank transfer suffice?
- Is there form filling of some sort required?

[broken link removed] should be able to sort you out, they seem to have operations for most countries.

I should qualify the statement by saying that we've not actually personally used them for such transactions but they do have a presence on our site and we've no reason to suspect that they are not as good as their word.

It is a pretty valuable service that only becomes evident when you actually own a property abroad. It's one of those things that nobody tells you when you're considering buying a property, or at least they don't go into as much detail on it as they should.
