Could anyone advise as to what is the best way to ensure you are dealing with a qualified electrician?
Our landlady constantly sends in electricians to fix our loo and plumbers to fix our oven. The latest is that our 12 year old oven has died and when it was pulled out we discovered it had burnt the sides of the presses - covered in black soot and scorch marks.
The electrician (who was convinced it was a fan oven when it's not!?) said to take it away and have it fixed. We're insisting on a new oven or at least a proper electrician for the job.
Anything we could insist on in terms of qualifications of affiliations of electrician?
