Currently on 2.3% fixed for 160k until Dec 2020 ( less than 60%LTV).

How do I calculate if it is worth solicitor/switching fees to go to Avant 1.95%?

Is it just the difference between the 2 percentages for each year?

Which lender are you with? You should compare the rate they have available then with the Avant rate.

Assuming 2.3% is the best rate.

€160k @ .35% = €560 a year.

So it would take three years to recover the legal costs. You might also be charged a fee by the broker.

Hi Merowig

I had a look at the Ccpc website. I can't see how it helps?

It doesn't even ask the current interest rate.
