How to back-up laptop contents

Is it possible to back-up all the data on your laptop in a few steps or does everything have to be done in separate bits......

Norton 360 will do a full backup onto an external hard drive as part of its scanning process.

On our PC , which has an OS of Win XP - you go to :

Start - all programs - assessories - system tools - backup - Then you follow the wizard

I find Windows 7's own scheduled backup utility fine.

If using ms wizard just back up my documents & settings if you choose a full back up it can take hours.

You could use an service like Dropbox to backup files online. I think they offer up to 2GB of storage space for free with the option to purchase additional space. Also means you can access the files from a different PC.

Once you install their program and decide what folders to backup the process runs in the background so you don't need to schedule anything.
