Hi there, my partner and I are thinking of buying a house togther. His salary is €38k with no debt, mine is €24 plus 2k bonus, however I have a personal loan of €6,500.
We're both first time buyers, and are looking at a 100% mortgage. I was wondering would my loan go against us and how much would we get? Any advice would be much appreciated, thanks guys.

According to the calculator at PrimaFinance you can borrow up 181,500.
This does NOT account for existing loans, though, but at least you know the max you can get.

Also, try [broken link removed]

Hi Madam,

I just want to alert you to the fact that you may not qualify for a 100% mortgage, although these have been marketed as new products etc, they may have fairly demanding income criteria. Additionally, as far as I know they will only be offered on certain types of home, eg. 1 bedroom apartments do qualify for some of the lenders. Your best bet is to contact a broker, they will be only too glad to help you, I am sure that someone here can recommend one for you.

I think someplaces will give 5 times your wages I found a guy in rea Mortgage's very good

Presumably subject to other terms & conditions - e.g. some maximum % of disposable income (e.g. < 40%), 92%-100% of house price etc. and not simply five times one's income?
