How much to get a snag list done?

Hi

anyone know much about snag lists, we want to do it ourselves. Many people agree and disagree!

there's a few standard ones (free as well) kicking about on the web....they seem good enough to me..or you could waste €150-200 paying someone to do it...a number of companies offer the service. a bit of effort tho and do it yourself

dont do it yourselves... get a pro to do it just encase problems arise in a year or so. Look at your hombond cover. Make sure you have that to fall back on. Look at homesnag.ie

yeah i have looked at homesnag.ie but my partner is an electrician and brother is an architect so i was looking for maybe a checklist on the internet - the only one i found was for €22.
just wanted something to cover everything - do you think i'm crazy?

If you are thinking about doing it yourself (never have or thought of doing it, but from any I've seen done it could be done as long as the required research is put in before hand.... know exactly what your looking at and what your looking for) try and get your hands on a few previously completed ones through your partner or brother. Given their positions shouldn't be too hard to get their hands on.

Hopefully a few soft check list versions will turn up through AAM, but don't leave too much to chance and do all the "homework" you can in the area.

thanks for that - just cant really afford to be spending €250 for professionals. site manager seems very approachable so think we should be ok, fingers crossed!
