How much to cut grass?

Is there a typical rate for a gardener to cut grass? I would suggest 60m is a small lawn or typical of an estate now?

Does yours take away clippings? Or maintain any shrubs and trees?
 
I don't know the price/ sqm but ask three guys to quote you to do it every 2 weeks and there's the going rate for you.

If there's a young lad in your neighborhood or even in your house who is willing and able why not send the work his way?

I plan to get my son to take on this job maybe next summer. I'll gladly pay him the full rate for it too.
 
Getting rid of garden waste now costs money - the charge depends on the weight of the waste and could be anything up to a few 100s of eurs
 
check with your local elderly neighbours, if it's like my street, they all seem to have "a man" who comes and does these kind of jobs every month,

I think this kind of thing differs a good bit urban to rural.

My folks have a holiday house in the west and they pay less. There are plenty of guys around with machinery ready to cut grass for cash.

For my elderly grandmother's house in Dublin it's more like the €30 rate.
 
I can’t believe you charge your elderly grandmother €30 an hour.
