How much prelim (corporation) tax to pay?

My CT assessment for 2006/2007 was Nil.
I have to pay Prelim tax this month for 2007/2008 and am will probably have a hefty final CT bill, in excess of €250,000.

My question is, can I just pay Nil prelim tax on 21st of this month (based on 100% of last year's final liability), or are there any other rules in place for this type of situation?

Was your 0% liability last year due to ongoing losses, or were you exercising the 'start-up' rule regarding claiming 0%?

It was due to losses (cost build up), sales only began this year.
