I've just been offered a job and have to hand in my notice to my current one. I have been here a few weeks short of a year. How much notice is usual to give, 3/4 weeks?
It is usually the same as your pay period.
If you get paid monthly 4 weeks or weekly 1 week.
I am sure it is specified in your contract.
You could ask HR if you are not sure.
They may be flexible if you cannot serve it all out.
