How much hard currency to take to Thailand

Heading off to Thailand in a week. How much Thai currency (baht) should I take with me? I have ordered €100 worth which at 50 baht to the euro will be about 4500 baht allowing for bank charges.

Is this enough? I presume there will be an ATM somewhere on Koh Samui island?

Also what currency do they use in Dubai as I am stopping there to change planes on the way?

Will American dollars do??

I would not bring any baht. There are ATM's at the airport in BKK (and all over Thailand). If you are not leaving the airport in Dubai, you will be able to spend euro. Definitely no need to bring dollars.
Otherwise, I would do the same in Dubai.
