how much for stonework?

Hi All

Want to get natural stone on our bay window and porch. Its a new build so just wondering roughly how much could it cost for stone and labour!!

Also got a quote for 10k for plastering a 2000sq ft house. Does that seem reasonable? What would we expect to pay for materials, thanks for your suggestions/help.

stonemason charging about Eur 65 per sq m around here, excl materials. A load of suitable stone about Eur500, with about 30% of that going to waste.....

Good stonemasons in the southeast are running at 100-120/sq mtr.
I had a quote from one at about 75/sq mtr, but there was no comparison in the quality of his work compared to the higher quotes. Poor stonework really shows up as it is usually in a very prominent position.
Stone you can get for 150 - 170 per pallet load. A pallet load should cover between 3.5 and 4.5 sq mtr.

Have you considered cladding instead?

I saw a demo a few weeks ago and it was really simple to install, I can't find the price list but it wasn't expensive either
