how long does AIB's approval in principle last?

I got approval in principle from AIB a couple of months ago. How long is this valid for??
 
I think you are confusing AIP with a loan offer?

AIP is approval before any documentation is sent in, usually only lasts a short period.

Loan offer is after all documentation has been sent in and approved, usually lasts 6 months, but might be shorter/longer.
 
Rule of thumb 3 months but given the changes in the market only really take it on a month to month basis
 
Listen to Dutz. He is wise. Banks are changing the goalposts every day of the week.

Bear in mind it was widely reported in yesterdays paper that AIB will be increasing their rates. I know they are stress testing at 5%, but not sure if this test will too be effected.
