How long do loan offers take now?

Hi,

We are waiting on final word on a loan approval for the buyers of our house from AIB, but they seem to be taking forever.
Does anyone know how long AIB take to offer final approvals?,
We accepted an offer 7 weeks ago, and are still waiting, is this too long?, should we be worried???

7 weeks is very long but it all depends on the buyer, if they are sending in their supporting documentation piece by piece then it can take this long.

Once AIB have all their docs and are happy to approve then a loan offer should take 10 working days max.
