How long before Jobseeker's Benefit claim processed?

just wondering if anyone knows what the waiting times are for processing jobseekers allowance?
 
Jobseeker Allowance claims can take several weeks, the waiting time varies from area to area.
 
The OP's question related to JSB which should be processed very quickly but it depends where you are located. Sorry about the vague reply but it varies form centre to centre.

JSA is a much longer process due to means test and habitual res. condition
 
In another post, the OP mentioned that they haven't worked in years - I think there's confusion between JB and JA in the question.

There can be delays in processing JB claims too - I'm aware of one person who's been waiting for a decision since July last.
