How important is tyre size.

Hi all,
I bought tyres for a Honda CBF 250 motorbike while I was on holidays in England. The recomended tyre size for the front tyre was 100/80 17, but all they had was a 110/80 17, which I took because it was so much cheaper than any tyre I could have got here in Ireland. I am just a bit worried now in case it makes much of a difference when it is fitted. Thanks.

Any biker worth his salt knows not to mess with tyres. Your life depends on them.
