How have recommendations worked out?

I developed[broken link removed] in response to concerns raised about the Euro a year ago.

The portfolio was developed specifically as a low risk alternative to cash deposits without attempting currency speculation, or "investing" in the latest fads.

I would be interested how actions people took last year have worked out for them so far.
