How do i transfer music from one ipod to another?

Hi,
Im trying to load music from my Itunes to another ipod (2) but am having a few problems.
I have music on my ipod (1) that i got from someone elses Itunes but i cant put individual songs onto ipod (2) without putting the whole playlist on. Then i cant access the playlist to delete songs that i dont want on ipod (2).
Can anyone help me and tell me how to do this, if i even can in the first place?? Do i have to sync the whole lot onto ipod (2) and leave it on??

( I hope ive explained things clearly!)
 
If you sync ipod 2 to your itunes and then select ipod 2 in your itunes program and delete the songs you don't want on that ipod.

You could also use manual update on ipod 2 instead of syncing and just drag the songs you want onto ipod 2 (again in your itunes program)
