How do I go about getting a C2

Hi

I am working towards incorporating a very small Company in the next couple of months.

Many of the type of contracts we will be seeking will be either County Council or Town Council clients and therefore require that we can produce a C2

How does a new Company go about attaining a C2?

I would appreciate any advice anyone can offer

Form RCT5 is the Revenue application form for Certificates of Authorisation ( C2's )

YOu must have a contract on offer for an application to be considered. The principal must supply details so Revenue know there is a genuine sub-contract in place. You must also have registered for taxes and have a tax number when applying.
