How do I get rid of Yahoo Toolbar ?

This Yahoo toolbar in IE is driving me nuts. Every time I open up a new window in IE, I get the toolbar which I do not want. I switch it off every time, but open next window and it is there again.

Any ideas on how to permanently disable it ?

Is it not listed in the Add/Remove Programs Control Panel applet so you can remove it? Is there anything useful ?

Try under add remove programs in the control panel

Go to Tools menu in IE, then Toolbars and then deselect Yahoo Toolbar.

What version of IE are you using ?

Download my favourite program "ccleaner" use its tools option which lists ALL programs in your computer and remove it from your system.Alternativley you can use the startup option and removing it from this list will keep it in your system but stop it running automatically on startup.....very handy!!

Thanks for all suggestions. I removed via Add/Remove Programs, and sanity is restored.
