I buy them 'prepaid' - costs less, and the per-minute rate is the same at any time. It comes down to as little as 13.6c/min if you buy 1,000 minutes per month...

You can pre-purchase international calls in the same way, starting at 12c/min, which is not too bad for remoter destinations. Otherwise you could use [broken link removed], but beware - Euphony charges more for those non-geographic prefixes, and don't specify the rates in their rate card:

Someone told me recently that there is a free soft ware available to down load from the internet to enable one to call mobiles through the net at a very cheap rate- can anyone confirm this? Anyone know the website address?
